Week 4

We had a busy week, visiting Mommy's work and letting everyone fuss over Adeline. No work can get done with that child in the room- she's way too cute and cuddly.

We had some friends stop by and chat, and everyone wanted to bring a sweet little outfit, too. A girl can't have too many dresses, can she?

We topped off the work week with a doctor's visit. Everything looks great, and she's gained nearly two whole pounds since birth, weighing in at 7lbs 4oz! Yippee- but a little sad, as I think we'll have to move up from Newborn diapers into size ones. No more tiny little baby, but I guess that's to be expected from someone who's one month old!

She's giggling a lot now, when she's not demanding to be held or fed. (Daddy completely spoils her on both counts.) She is tracking shapes and movement with a very interested pair of blue eyes. She also likes music and the sound of our voices. Especially the sound of her big brother reading her a bedtime story every night. Those two have a very special bond. Warms the heart.
