Week 5 & 6

Whew- where to start?

Adeline took her first plane ride as she came along with Mommy and Daddy to look for a new house. She did so well, and we stayed with old friends while we were looking. She got to meet her first dog, and I think both Adeline and Gwen (the labrador) were fascinated with each other!

While she was away, she sent this photo to her big brother, who stayed home so he wouldn't miss school. We think everyone enjoyed some special time with being "the only kid in the house" that week.

Adeline also got to meet her Mimi (maternal grandmother) when we returned. It was, of course, love at first sight! Mimi babysat while Mommy went back to work for a couple days. Again, I don't know who loved whom more!

Over last weekend, Adeline was baptized. It was a beautiful ceremony, with grandparents, aunts and uncles and many friends present to celebrate. Later that Sunday afternoon, Mommy threw a little "tea party" where all her girlfriends brought dresses for Adeline. We are now officially the best dressed gal on the block!
