Week 8

Wow. Almost 2 months old. Doesn't seem like that long, but it also seems like Adeline's always been a part of the family.

We had a lovely visit to friends in Jupiter, Florida, and we figured out that A has about a 3 hour tolerance for the car seat. No amount of bottles, binkys or singing can convince her to settle down once she decides she wants out. Determined little thing, she is. Also getting bigger and smarter. If she's "hungry-fussing." she calms down once the bib is on. If we sing, she smiles and listens. She tracks moving objects with her eyes, and she is so strong. I swear she was "planking" during tummy time on Wednesday!

Miss Thing decided she wanted to stand up in her swing.

This is Brie, a turtle at the Jupiter Loggerhead Rescue, that was found--injured and sick--on the day that Adeline was born. She's growing stronger every day, just like her "birthday buddy."
